Hey... How are you doing? I'm doing good. How was your weekend? Mine was great but anyway there is this guy named Bill Simmons who is a sports writer and he was born in Massachusetts and inConnecticut . He writes for Espn and also has his own podcast on it. He has nicknames such as , :::Sports Guy and The Boston Sports Guy:::
Like every writer he has his own style of writing that finds him unique.

Hey... I'm Joan and I am a young female of the age ??. I am a student that loves writing. The picture of the book right above this blog is the sports section of the New York Times. I feel writing is the key to everything, especially expressing yourself. I love writing and reading about interesting things that are going on in the sports world and to know different techniques of writting. I feel that someone should always get to know alittle backround information about the person they are researching as well. :::H0w To Writ3 a Radio Recap:::


If you want to be a sports reporter, you need to know how to write a Radio Recap. After any game either a couple of hours later or even days later people will be coming out with radio recaps.


..::: Facts to a successful Radio Recap are ...:::


1) Start with both teams & score.


2) Possiable big play


3) Make sure it is 25-30 seconds with 80-85 words.


4) The standings of each team.


5) 2-3 players from winning team & their stats


6)1-2 players from the loosing team & their stats.


7) Sign out,( Your name & location)
These tips will come in hand when you need to write a radio recap and get stuck

William Rhoden


Hey everyone,

I love writing and at some points I look up writers just to see their style in writting. IM writting about a writter names William Rhoden. He writes for the New York times and has been wring since March of 83'. A little backround about him is that he went to Morgan State University in Baltimore & acted as assistant sports information director. In the years 1974-1978 he was the associate editor for Ebony magazine. Before where he is now he was a columnist at Baltimore Sun & spent more then 3 years there. He writes about all sports and thats also what I want to do. He has achieved alot since he started writting and is inspiring to alot of older people and young people as well.
